Riding lessons in Los Angeles

We teach kids on their very first pony, adults who always wanted to learn, and riders getting ready for their next show. Lessons are on our own well-schooled horses, and each one is built around the rider in front of us.

Lessons also cover grooming, tacking up and taking care of the horse.

Before your first lesson

  • Not at all. Many of our riders started with us as complete beginners, both kids and adults.

  • Long pants and boots with a small heel. You’ll also need a certified riding helmet, and if you don’t have one yet, we have loaner helmets you can use.

  • Riders can start lessons at CM Training Stables from age 5.
