Carolin Malmkvist

Head Trainer

Carolin has over 35 years of professional experience in the equestrian industry. Born into an equestrian family, she trained with some of the top trainers in Sweden, leading her to win the State Championship in Three Day Eventing. She also rode in Sweden’s Elite Show Jumping Series, qualifying for the Swedish Championship along with carrying the title of team captain for the Pony Jumping Division and winning the gold medal two years in a row. Carolin worked at Markebacks Gard, a well-known Swedish breeding barn, where she started a number of Swedish Warmblood stallions.

Since Carolin has moved to the US, she has successfully competed on the ‘A Circuit’ in Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation with notable wins at HITS Thermal, Blenheim Equisports, Spruce Meadows and other Southern California venues.
